ABOUT US
Central Physiotherapy & Massage is a busy, modern multidisciplinary clinic serving Camrose and surrounding communities. Our collaborative team includes physiotherapists, chiropractors, registered massage therapists, a manual osteopath, an acupuncturist, an occupational therapist and a psychologist.
Our clinic offers a supportive team environment, an established patient base and modern rehabilitation technology, including shockwave and laser therapy equipment, spinal decompression and traction equipment, and private treatment rooms.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Assess patients’ physical abilities, functional limitations and rehabilitation needs

Examine patients and administer appropriate evaluative tests

Develop and implement individualized physiotherapy programs

Select and provide therapeutic exercises, manual techniques and rehabilitation interventions

Educate patients regarding treatment plans, injury prevention and home exercises

Teach and supervise exercises performed by patients

Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate

Maintain accurate clinical and progress reports

Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals

Supervise support staff when required

Follow professional, privacy, safety and infection-control standards
QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree or higher in physiotherapy

Eligible for registration and a practice permit with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta
-
Completion of applicable Canadian physiotherapy competency and regulatory requirements

Professional liability insurance

Experience is an asset; qualified new graduates are welcome

Strong clinical reasoning, communication and organizational skills

Ability to communicate effectively in English
