Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Retail Store Manager to manage sales operations at our Victoria, BC location.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor market trends, customer demand, and competitor activity.

• Select merchandise and services based on customer needs and market conditions.

• Set and maintain pricing and credit policies.

• Source and purchase merchandise for resale.

• Prepare budgets and monitor sales, revenue, and expenses.

• Determine staffing needs and coordinate staff schedules.

• Recruit, train, and supervise sales staff.

• Supervise a team of approximately 3–4 employees.

• Conduct staff performance reviews and provide feedback.

• Handle customer concerns, complaints, and supply issues.

• Oversee daily sales activities and ensure smooth store operations.

• Monitor sales performance and make improvements where needed.

• Coordinate the work of the sales team to meet business objectives.

Education

• Bachelor's degree required.

Experience

• 2 to less than 3 years of relevant experience in retail sales management, sales supervision, or a related occupation.

• Experience supervising staff.

• Knowledge of retail sales, merchandising, and purchasing.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• English language proficiency required.
