PRIVATE HOUSEHOLD DOMESTIC HOUSEKEEPER - NEEDED IN TORONTO (J.M.)
We live in a large house, and everyone has busy full-time jobs. One family member travels a great deal for work, and we need some help to clean and run the home so we can free to deal with our jobs. We need a full-time housekeeper that can upkeep the household chores. You must have good organizational skills and attention to detail. Previous experience as a housekeeper is an asset, and one must be familiar with self-managing schedules.
Duties & Responsibilities include the following:
- Perform daily housekeeping duties including dusting, vacuuming, kitchen, and bathroom cleaning, washing floors;
- Assume full responsibility for household (in absence of householder);
- Handling general requests as needed.
- Damp mops small area hard surface floors;
- Keeping all areas of the house clean and tidy, including bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, and common spaces.
- Dusting and polishing furniture, sweeping and mopping floors, and vacuuming carpets or rugs.
- Changing bed sheets and ensuring that all linens are fresh and clean.
- Cleaning kitchen appliances, counters, and cabinets, but not including meal preparation or cooking.
- Doing laundry, including washing, drying, and folding clothes, as well as ironing when necessary.
- Keeping household supplies stocked and organized, such as cleaning supplies, toiletries, and paper products.
- Organizing and putting away items in their proper places,
- Reporting any damages or repairs needed to the homeowner
Wage ($/Hr): 36.92
Schedule of Work:
Monday to Friday
6 hours a day
30 hours a week
