Wage rate: $39/hour for 40 hours/week.
Benefits: 4% vacation pay of the gross salary will be paid each pay period.
Education: Secondary (high) School Graduation Certificate
Experience: Minimum 1 years to less than 2 years
Language: English.
Job Duties:
- Measure installation areas and determine the required size, type and thickness of glass.
- Cut, shape and prepare glass panels according to job requirements.
- Install and replace glass in residential and commercial windows, doors and storefronts.
- Remove damaged glass and prepare frames and surfaces for replacement.
- Secure glass panels using frames, brackets, gaskets, sealants and fittings.
- Install and replace automotive windshields, side and rear windows using appropriate tools and adhesives.
- Inspect frames and fittings to ensure proper alignment and installation.
- Apply sealants and weatherproofing materials to prevent air and water leakage.
- Repair or replace damaged glass fittings, seals and related hardware.
- Inspect completed work for proper fitting, safety and quality.
- Maintain tools and equipment and follow workplace safety procedures.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, handling heavy loads, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, overtime required.
