CHILD CAREGIVER
Position: Full-Time Child Caregiver
Hourly Wage: $19.27 per hour
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, 5 days per week
Job Description
We are seeking a caring, responsible, patient, and dependable child caregiver to provide childcare and household assistance to a family. The caregiver will also assist the mother, who experiences chronic pain, with certain daily activities and household responsibilities.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care and supervision to children.
- Ensure the children's safety, comfort, and well-being.
- Prepare and serve meals for the children and family.
- Perform general housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining an organized household.
- Assist the mother with daily activities and household tasks as needed due to her chronic pain.
- Help with meal preparation and other light domestic duties.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment.
- Support the family's daily routines and needs.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of 1–2 years of relevant work experience in childcare and/or caregiving.
- Ability to speak and understand English or French. At least Secondary graduate.
- Patient, compassionate, trustworthy, and responsible.
- Ability to work independently and manage daily household responsibilities.
- Previous experience assisting individuals with chronic pain or mobility limitations is an asset.
Employment Conditions
- Full-time position.
- 5 days per week.
- 40 hours per week.
- Salary: $19.27 per hour.
