Job Description

We are seeking a caring, responsible, and experienced Home Child Care Provider to support our family in Mississauga, Ontario. The provider will care for children in a nurturing, safe, and structured environment while assisting with daily routines, learning activities, hygiene, and light housekeeping. This is a full-time, permanent position starting as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and care for children in the employer’s home

• Provide emotional support and ensure the well-being of children

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals

• Bathe, dress, feed children; change diapers and sterilize bottles

• Plan and organize age-appropriate activities (reading, games, crafts, early learning)

• Assist with personal hygiene and social development

• Maintain a clean and safe home environment

• Take children to and from school, appointments, and activities

• Keep daily records of routines, behaviour, and health information

• Perform light housekeeping: laundry, cleaning, dishwashing, tidying play areas

• Travel with family on trips as required

• Follow parents’ instructions on discipline, routines, diet, and schedules

Education & Experience

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience

• Ability to communicate in English (Urdu/Punjabi an asset)

• Criminal record check and basic security clearance required

Work Conditions

• Full-time, 40 hours/week

• Work must be performed on-site (no remote option)

• Non-smoking environment
