Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Home Child Care Worker to provide essential care and support. The successful candidate will assist with daily living activities, personal care, and ensure a safe, comfortable environment for the children.  

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Provide attentive and responsible care
• Ensure the child’s safety, well-being and emotional support
• Plan, cook, and serve nutritious meals according to dietary needs
• Help with bathing, dressing, grooming and hygiene
• Maintain a clean and organized space
• Create a nurturing and supportive environment
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks
• Perform light housekeeping duties related to the child (e.g., laundry, tidying up).
• Ensure a structured and stable home environment.
• Maintain records of daily activities, meals, and any behavioral concerns.

 

Qualifications: 

- 1-12 months of experience in a similar role (home care, nursing, or related field) 

- or College certificate/diploma in Healthcare, Nursing, or a related discipline 

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills 

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively 

- Empathy, patience, and a passion for helping others 

 

Location:

Work will be provided at the employer's residence in Surrey, BC.
