Hoist Operator

About the Role

We are looking for a certified Hoist Operator to join our team for long-term, ongoing construction projects across the Lower Mainland. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, reliable, and experienced in operating construction hoists.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate construction hoist to lift and move workers, tools, and materials
• Perform daily pre-operation inspections and maintain logs
• Ensure safe loading and unloading at all levels
• Follow WorkSafeBC safety procedures at all times
• Communicate effectively with ground crew and site supervisor
• Report equipment issues immediately
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Required Certifications

Please provide valid proof of certification.

• Hoist Operator Certification (BC-recognized)
• Fall Protection
• WHMIS 2015
• First Aid Level 1 (asset)

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year experience as a hoist/lift operator
• Physically fit and able to work in outdoor conditions
• Strong safety awareness
• Commitment to full-time availability
• Punctual and reliable
