Dairy Helper - food and beverage processing

Dhaliwal Dairy, located in Surrey, BC, is currently seeking two (2) full-time, permanent Dairy Helpers to assist with daily production activities and ensure smooth operation of its dairy processing facility.

Location: Suite# 2, 6531 148 Street Surrey, BCV3X 3C5

Job Position: Dairy Helper – Food and Beverage Processing (NOC 95106)
Wage: $21.00 per hour (40 hours per week)
Overtime: $31.50 per hour after 40 hours per week
Vacation Pay: 4% of gross wages (as per Employment Standards)
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: As soon as possible
Language: English
Experience: Previous experience in food or dairy processing is an asset

Job Duties:

• Transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials within the production area
• Measure and load ingredients into hoppers of mixing or grinding machines
• Feed flattened boxes into forming machines to construct containers
• Remove filled containers from conveyors
• Manually pack goods into bags, boxes, or other containers
• Feed and unload processing machines
• Inspect products and packaging for basic quality defects
• Assist process control and machine operators with production tasks
• Clean machines, equipment, and immediate work areas
