Cook, ethnic foods (Serbian/Balkan)
Work conditions: Salary: 23.00/h, full time, 40 -44 hours/week, regular, permanent
Job requirements: trades certificate or diploma in cooking or related culinary arts, 3-5 years of experience in ethnic Serbian/Balkan cooking, fast-paced environment, work under pressure, attention to detail, personal suitability: judgement, flexibility, team player, organized, initiative, client focus, dependability, reliability, cuisine specialties: European, Mediterranean, Serbian, Balkan cuisine.
Duties: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods in accordance to traditional Serbian/Balkan recipes, plan menus, prepare special orders, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies, inspect kitchens and food service areas, train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, order supplies and equipment, supervise kitchen staff and helpers, maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, clean kitchen and work areas, organize and manage buffets and banquets, manage kitchen operations
