Job requirements

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Specific Skills:
Take children to and from school and to appointments; Supervise and care for children; Prepare and serve nutritious meals; Organize, activities such as games and outings for children; Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children; Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents; Bathe, dress and feed infants and children

Experience with Special Needs Children: Children with allergies

Children's Ages: School age (6 - 12 years)

Additional Skills:
Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens; Shop for food and household supplies; Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties; Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents

Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Work Setting: Employer's home

Target Audience: Supervise and care for a multi-aged group of children

Security and Safety: Criminal record check; Reference required

Work Site Environment: Non-smoking; Scent free

Transportation/Travel Information: Own vehicle

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks
