Study plans, specifications or drawings of articles to be made, or prepare specifications. Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete unit and reinforce joints. Sand wooden suraces and apply veneer, stain or polish to finish products. Apply laminated plastics. Operate woodworking machines and use hand tools to cut, shape and form parts and components. Repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures and related projcets in a custom cabinet shop and wood milling workshop. Minimum of 4 years experience with excellent references for ability to prepare quality products in timely and skillful way. Must be adaptable and able to work independently or as a team member. Willing and able to train junior wood workers. We pay more than the standard wage but then we require superior skills and excellent work habits. Salary is $22.50 per hour to start based on 40 hour week.
