Job details

  •  Location: 208-14925 100 Avenue, Surrey, BCV3R1J6

  •  Salary: $14.5 hourly for 40 hours per week

  •  Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time,  Evening, Flexible Hours, To be determined, Morning

  •  Start date: As soon as possible


Job requirements






Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience


Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)

Emergency child care first aid and CPR



1 year to less than 2 years


Specific Skills

Tend to emotional well-being of children; Supervise and care for children; Sterilize bottles, prepare formulas and change diapers for infants; Prepare and serve nutritious meals; Organize, activities such as games and outings for children; Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home; Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children; Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents; Bathe, dress and feed infants and children; Prepare infants and children for rest periods


Children's Ages

1 year; Toddler to pre-school (1 - 3 years)


Additional Skills

Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens; Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties; Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties; Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents


Weight Handling

Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
