Brampton / Ontario based Elite Administration Services is seeking a full-time bookkeeper to join our internal accounting Administration team.


College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience

Skills required:

  • Must be proficient in QuickBooks

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience

  • Quick Books, Simply Accounting, MS Excel, MS Windows, Accounting software, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment

  • Detail-oriented and organized

  • Able to multi-task and meet multiple deadlines

  • Fast learner and able to find the most efficient way to solve the problem

  • Good communication skills, fluent with English (verbal & written)

Tasks responsible for

Post journal entries, Maintain general ledgers and financial statements, prepare trial balance of books, Calculate fixed assets and depreciation, Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, Prepare tax returns, Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, Reconcile accounts, Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
