FAHIM CATERING SERVICES INC. (DBA: ROSIE’S COUNTRY CAFÉ ) is looking for a COOK to join our team located at Unit 8, 3033 King George Blvd, Surrey, BC. V4P 1B8


Position : COOK (NOC: 6322)


Vacancy: 1


Job Type: Full Time, Permanent 


Language: English 
Education : Completion of Secondary School. 
Experience : Minimum 1 year


Wage: C$ 24/hour


Location: UNIT:8, 3033, King George BLVD,BC, V4P 1B8


Working Hours: 8 Hours per day or 40 hours per week (Full-Time), Permanent


Benefit: 10 days paid vacation per year



The qualified Cooks will perform the following duties:



  • Be able to cook complete meals and individual dishes.

  • Help in planning menus; determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and cost. Train staff in preparation of food / dishes.

  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers.

  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.

  • May have to monitor and order supplies.

  • Oversee kitchen operations.

  • Keep in mind all safety precautions while dealing with appliances in kitchen.  

  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas.


 
Cuisine Specialties: Real Canadian Restaurant (breakfast & lunch only)
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods.
