Main Duties:
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Plans menus, determine size of food portions
- Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers
- Train staff in preparation,cooking and handling of food
- Oversee kitchen operations
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Set up and oversee buffets
- Clean kitchen and work area
- Estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
- May hire and train kitchen staff.
Experience
- cook: 4 - 5 years of experience of cooking individual dishes and foods which are fusion of Bangali and Indian food.
Working condition and Physical capabilities:
Fast-paced environment,work under pressure,repetitive tasks,standing for extended periods,physically demanded and attention to details.
