BASANT SWEETS SHOP LTD. is looking for a “Food and Beverage Server” to join their team located in Surrey, BC, Canada.

Position: Food and Beverage Server


Terms of employment: Permanent / Full Time


Vacancy: 3


Start Date: As soon as possible


Salary: $15.50/hr; 40hr/week


Language: English


Location: 402, 8148, 128 Street, Surrey, BC, V3W 1R1


 


Beverage Server (NOC 6513) will have to perform all of these duties:



  • Greet the customers, present menus on their tables, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages as asked.

  • Take the orders at the table and inform it to the kitchen staff and the beverages to the Beverage section.

  • Serve food in a pleasant manner.

  • Prepare and serve specialty foods at customers' tables as per the order.

  • Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards.

  • Promote and provide menu items like daily special or occasion special for customers.

  • Make sure the tables and desks are clean and tidy all the time, clear and clean tables, trays and chairs.

  • Pick the empty dishes from the table in timely manner and present good customer service skills.


Requirements:



  • Completion of secondary school education

  • The employment is full time and permanent.

  • No experience required.
