Banvil 2000 is seeking an energetic, competitive, and self-motivated General Manager – Business Development to workout of its office located at Milton, Ontario. This position oversees business development and marketing & sales strategy of the company. 

Job Duties - Final

  • Head the business development, marketing and sales domains of the company

  • Plan, organize, direct, control & coordinate the effectiveness of the business development functions of the company

  • Manage research-resources to generate new business leads and develop new markets

  • Direct the product-pricing, discounts, commission rates and promotional campaigns

  • Hiring of managers and staff of the company as per approved policies and monitor their training and skill enhancement

  • Re-organize the functional divisions and departments, and set objectives

  • Evaluating and developing marketing strategy for new and existing products

  • Ensure that marketing and sales are aligned and that all marketing initiatives are supportive of an integrated Sales and Marketing process

  • Create market analysis to help support product and channel development and pricing strategies

  • Forecast annual sales volume and allocate the human, financial and material resources to achieve the goals

  • Formulate policies and programs on business development

  • Represent the company in negotiations, meetings & official functions

  • Oversee and work hands on in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns 


  • Bachelor’s degree in Science/Engineering/Management/Business 


  • 10 years of appropriate management experience in a professional business development capacity, out of which 5 years must be at middle management level

  • 2 years experience at senior management level will be considered valuable

  • Experience of working in an engineering and technology and/or trade domain will be preferred
