Retail Supervisor

Quiznos Sub located at 410-3020 22 Street, Red Deer, Alberta is looking for ONE Food Supervisor position. We are looking for an energetic individual who has the ability to supervise our QUIZNOS LOCATION. This is a permanent full-time position. We would like this individual to start as soon as possible. The individual must be flexible, must possess excellent oral communication and effective interpersonal skills, must be client focused and should be a team player.

Salary: $20.00 / hour

Permanent, Full time: 40 to 44 hours / week

Employment conditions: Early morning, Evenings, Weekends, Nights.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling.

The individual must be able to:

Hire food service staff 
Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food 
Establish work schedules for other staff with in the organization 
Establish mechanisms to meet work schedules 
Estimate and order ingredients and supplies for our location 
Ensure that the food service and quality control is met 
Maintain records of stock for our location 
Prepare and submit sale reports 
Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres 
Supervise and check assembly of trays 
Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures 
Prepare budget for the location and also estimate cost 
Address customers' complaints or concerns 
We require the individual to speak good English and have a minimum of Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. The individual must have 3-5 years of experience as a Supervisor in Food Services in a similar setting. The individual must be able to supervise 1-2 workers. The individual will be supervising mostly food service counter attendants, food preparers, kitchen and food service helpers. The individual is expected to work in our fast-paced environment and under tight deadlines.

The successful candidate will undergo a Criminal Record Check.
