Line cook /Prep Cook
Terms of Employment: permanent, full time, 30-40 hours per week, regular
Job requirements: 2-3 years of experience, personal suitability: judgement, flexibility, team player, organized, initiative, client focus, dependability, reliability
Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, meet with Chef to plan day/week accordingly, discuss dishes; size, plating, seasoning etc., prepare mise en place, based on the chefs menu, for their station, clean, cut, prep raw ingredients for the meals, set up, close and clean station and work areas, work the line and read chits provided from front of house, read and cook meals based on the chits, be able to prepare dishes with variations, ie; food allergies or guests’ requests, Communicate with other stations for pic -ups and timings. maintain inventory and record of food at the station and pass list to chef for ordering. Prepare and cook food and work according to Health and Safety standards. Italian cuisine, European, International, Mediterranean cuisine
