Civil Engineering Design Technologist

Develop engineering designs using CAD and/or manual drafting from preliminary concepts and sketches, Prepare construction specifications, cost and material estimates, project scheduling, status updates and reports, supervise or conduct field surveys, inspections and technical inspections of topography, soils, drainage and water supply systems, road and highway systems, buildings and structures to provide data for engineering projects. Manage project, supervise, monitor, liaise with clients and inspect construction projects.

Involved in environmental projects considered as urgent priorities by Economic Development of Greater Sudbury. 1

Qualified for certification in civil engineering technology / Str

Highly experienced (minimum of 3-5 years)   in all aspects of civil engineering technology and experience in project management.  Strongly prefer  , bachelor of engineering , specializing in  civil engineering technology but will consider 3 year college program in civil engineering technology. Strong project maangement experience.  Excellent English communication skills, Self starter, Quick learner, adaptable, team player  and good interpersonal skills in working with cusomers.

Position is permanent full time for persons willing to commit to living in Sudbury, Ontario .
