Job Description

Farm Supervisor Specific Skills: Co-ordinate, Assign and Supervise the work of General Farm Workers and Harvesting Labourers; Overseeing the produce of growers supplying fruit to Westberry to ensure highest quality and that they adhere to all food safe requirements; Maintain quality control and production records; Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations and provide recommendations in areas of fertilizations, insect, weed control and irrigation management; Develop work schedules and establish procedure including liaison with growers to ensure timely harvesting and delivery; Keep Manager of operations apprised of the estimated receipt of fruit and liaise with logistics staff to ensure timely shipments out of the receiving station; Ensure farm safety, fruit safety and security and neo-security procedures are followed; May perform related duties

 Experience could be substituted by qualification

Ability to Supervise: 16-20 people

Work Conditions: Attention to Detail, combination of sitting, standing and walking
