JOB DUTIES
OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR
- Ensuring all employees understand and uphold the company values and conduct expectations
- Maintaining an open and respectful communication with employees and providing ongoing coaching and mentoring to the team
- Meet order and customer commitments while maintaining timely deliveries per published schedule
- Overseeing the day to day direction, coordination, and evaluation of the department for ordering of wire ropes and rigging supplies
- Planning, scheduling, assigning, and directing work; assessing performance; rewarding and performance managing employees
- Working closely with management team and operations leadership
- Monitoring labour hours and advising distribution manager of changes in procedure or conditions that impact operating costs
- Evaluating individual performance to ensure all employees perform above the standards for safety, quality and production
- Identifying and leading continuous improvement projects within the operations department
Compensation & Hours:
Salary: $25.00 CAD Per Hour
Working hours: Minimum 32 hours per week
Overtime Rate: $37.50 per hour starting after 44 hours per week
Holiday pay: 4% of gross pay
