As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will help the Business Development, Sales, Marketing and Finance leaders achieve business and financial objectives. Based on your strong analytic skills, you will provide insights and recommendations that influence key decisions to improve financial performance. Each day, this multi-faceted opportunity will keep you on your toes with value add financial analysis that will support action-oriented outcomes with associated governance processes required.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver financial operational excellence supporting our Sales and Marketing Organization
  • Analysis and reporting of sales investments and initiatives with the aim to understand how they interlock to the P&L
  • Prepare monthly performance reports and variance analysis of results
  • Assist in leading and coordinating the forecasting, strategic planning and annual budgeting processes in support of our Business channels
  • Finance prime for new sales initiatives requiring impact assessments, governance or control requirements
  • Collaborate with partners to identify, develop, and implement process and internal control improvements with strong focus on automation
  • Support ad-hoc financial and operational analysis from senior management

Act as a Trusted Advisor

  • Actively provide decision support to CEO, Finance, Marketing and Sales by understanding the business, the challenges and opportunities
  • Able to engage a diverse set of stakeholders and provide financial consultation through open and trustworthy conversations regardless of level to overcome obstacles and achieve objectives

Required Knowledge & Qualifications

  • Excellent analytical and presentation skills with the ability to present strategic options in a clear concise manner for maximum impact
  • Preferably worked in a role of techno-commercial evaluator or a business analyst in telecom domain with minimum of 7 year of experience
  • Advanced financial modelling skills including NPV and ROI analysis, business case analysis, M&A deal structuring etc. while factoring a number of variables.
  • Convert/develop a user friendly automated tools for various business needs
  • Knowledge and experience in accounting principles and practices
  • Knowledge of forecasting and budgeting principles and practices
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, PowerPoint and with in-depth knowledge of Excel including automatic relationship detection, creation of DAX measures and time grouping
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant analytical experience in a finance/accounting position
  • University degree

Great-to-haves

  • Experience in Management consulting, Sales or Sales enablement
  • MBA or CPA
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce and Accounting Seed
  • Working knowledge of data tools like tableau/python
  • Telecommunications/technology industry experience
