Millfield Management Ltd. has been in operation since 2010 and has managed apartment buildings for out of Province Landlords as well as manage its own portfolio of holdings. Millfield Management Ltd. oversees all operations in regards to leasing the residential units to tenants as well as overseeing all maintenance and construction needs within the units/buildings.
Millfield is seeking the services of a competent and experienced, 3 to 5 years, building maintenance supervisor, familiar with all aspects of maintaining facilities and buildings, as well as in the areas of Construction, Inspection, Installation, Maintenance, Repair, Restoration, and Shop-work. The ideal candidate needs to be able to handle working under pressure, and meet deadlines, and occasionally do overtime. The work may be in outdoor, indoor, or noisy environment.
Millfield values its customers and the relationship it maintains with them, and as such requires its employees to be organized, team players, reliable, and with excellent oral communication.
Additionally, the candidate will, from time to time, oversee apprenticeship training, operate CADD and other computer software systems, estimate costs and materials. As part of the main duties the candidate will also supervise workers and projects, co-ordinate and schedule activities, set up machines and equipment, ensure health and safety regulations are followed, recommend personnel actions, and read blueprints and drawings.
The type of workers to be supervised are bricklayers, cement finishers, tile setters, painters and decorators, floor covering installers, automotive mechanical installers and servicers, plasterers, drywall installers and finishers, electrical appliances installers, fence erectors, recreation equipment installers, septic systems installers, sign installers, water conditioner, servicers, trades helpers, and general labourers.
This position offers a salary package of $25 per hour, with scheduled work between 30 – 44 hours, and paid overtime after 40 hours, per week. It also includes medical benefits and paid annual leave as per the province of New Brunswick regulations.
The employer will not cover relocation costs.
