Position Summary

Momotaro Japanese Restaurant is seeking a cook to join its team. The role requires preparing and cooking meals and dishes for customers as well as maintaining a clean and orderly kitchen.  We require someone who is comfortable cooking ethnic (Japanese) food.

 

Job Detail

Job Title: Cook – ethnic foods

Positions Available: 1

Salary: $15.00 per hour for 40 hours per week

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Language: English

Start Date of Employment: As Soon As Possible

Vacation: 4% of gross salary in lieu of vacation time

Work Location: Suite 65, 15355 26 Avenue, Surrey, BC V4P 1C4 

Employment conditions: Must be available for evening, night and weekend shifts

Education: No Degree, certificate, or diploma

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience

Employer will cover the cost of relocation

 

Job Description

-Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods

-Creating Japanese food menu with various main ingredients and raw fish

-Preparing and cooking all types of Japanese cuisine or special dishes

-Selecting fresh fruits and vegetables to make high quality dishes

-Prepare appetizers, soups and salads that are close to the philosophy of Japanese Cuisine

-Monitor food stock and place orders as needed
