Finish Carpenter

PBA Homes Construction Ltd., is a construction company providing all sort of construction & renovation services in Lower Mainland. We are looking for:

Job Title: Finish Carpenter (NOC: 7271)

Salary: $29.00/ hour

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: 11962 -96 A Ave., Surrey BC V3V2A6 
Qualification: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.

Main duties:

• Operate woodworking machines and use hand tools to cut, shape, and form parts and components.
• Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete unit and reinforce joints. Like doors, stairs, moulding and other hardware.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and work accordingly.
• Calculate requirements; Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
• Supervise other construction workers.
• May need to prepare cost estimate for the client.
• Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites.
