Job requirements

Language(s):  English

Education:  Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.):  First Aid Certificate; CPR Certificate

Experience:  1 year to less than 2 years

Specific Skills:  Shop for food and household supplies; Provide personal care; Provide companionship; Prepare and serve nutritious meals; Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties; Launder clothing and household linens; Feed or assist in feeding; Administer medications; Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk; Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.

Weight Handling:  Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Work Setting:  Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment.

Target Audience: Elderly

Security and Safety:  Medical exam

Work Site Environment:  Non-smoking

Transportation/Travel Information:  Travel expenses paid by employer; Public transportation is available
