Job description:
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Compose, edit and prepare documents including letters, memos, forms and other paperwork

Create, coordinate and maintain vendor supplier information, employee data base, financial and other information

Perform monthly vendor statement reconciliation, prepare monthly financial information and submit to Accountants

Open and distribute regular and electronic incoming mail and other material and co-ordinate the flow of information

Conduct interviews and recruit employees

Create and orderly filing system to maintain and organize files both electronically as well as physically

Process vendor invoices for payment

Record and prepare minutes of meetings

May compile data, statistics and other information to support research activities

Business Equipment and Computer Applications: MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, MS Excel
Compensation & Hours:
Salary: $23.00 CAD Per Hour
Working hours: Minimum 30 hours per week
Overtime Rate: $34.50 per hour starting after 44 hours per week
Holiday pay: 4% of gross pay
