Job Summary

Responsible for managing supermarket staff; coordinate the shipping of goods, sets up displays, and assists customers and staff during business hours; prepare reports on sales volumes, inventories, merchandising and personnel matters; authorize return of merchandise; assign sales workers to duties.

Qualification:

• A college diploma or above degree in business administration
• Minimum 3 years of experience in retail sales and management

Job duties:

• Plan store sales objective, conduct analysis of sales activities and track sales records;
• Collect relevant sales information, prepare report, and provide suggestions regarding merchandise selection, supply, budget plan and sales strategies;
• Ensure products are priced within acceptable range; ensure merchandise is clean and ready to be displayed;
• Maintain store's cleanliness, hygiene and safety measures; ensure customers’ safety by strictly implementing shopping rules during pandemic;
• Monitor local competitors; develop daily/weekly sales promotions including coupons and discount, and implement upon approval;
• Ensure, evaluate and improve quality of customer service; develop and maintain customer relationship by handling customers requests, feedbacks, or complaints;
• Manage sales team including recruitment, training, overseeing, and arranging work schedule;
• Be responsible for selecting, contacting, and coordinating with third-party service vendors;
• Coordinate purchase and delivery of merchandise and inventory.
