Job Requirements

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Ability to Supervise: 5-10 people

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Sitting, Ability to distinguish between colours, Standing for extended periods, Hand-eye co-ordination, Manual dexterity, Physically demanding, Repetitive tasks, Attention to detail

Work Location Information: In shop

Work Site Environment: Noisy

Specific Skills: Establish work schedules, Prepare production and other reports, Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality, Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies, Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers, Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies, Set up machines and equipment, Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions, Establish methods to meet work schedules, Co-ordinate work activities with other departments
