Permanent Full-Time Bakery Supervisor wanted for a Retail Filipino Bake Shop “Ludy’s Cake Shop Ltd. o/a Cakes by Ludy” located at #10708 - 134 Ave. Edmonton AB T5E 1J8. Wage rate is $15.00 per hour and works 30 to 44 hours per week. Benefit includes employee meal; 4% vacation pay and continuous learning opportunity.
JOB DUTIES
- Schedule, train and supervise baking staffs in the operation of a Filipino Retail Bake Shop.
- Monitor inventory of stocks/ingredients and replenish by ordering from our suppliers.
- Entertain customers’ complaints and take appropriate and timely action to resolve the complaints.
- Prepare dough for Filipino baked goods such as pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies and cakes and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Bake mixed dough and batters. Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods.
- Prepare special orders for customers with food allergies and intolerances.
- Oversee sales and merchandising by drawing up production schedules of baked products.
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas and ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.

Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
Language: English
Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years combined previous work experience in any food service is required.
