Cook, ethnic foods (Easter European)
Salary $16.00 per hour
Terms of employment: full time, 40 hours per week, regular, permanent
Job requirements: 2-3 years of experience, knowledge and experience in cooking of traditional Eastern European dishes; personal suitability: flexibility, team player, dependability, organized.
Duties: prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods from scratch as per Eastern European recipes, plan menus for lunch/dinner take outs, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies, inspect kitchens and food service areas, maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, clean kitchen and work areas, manage kitchen operations, prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances as per customer request, prepare custom orders, maintains adequate supply of all prepared products on hand and ensures the proper storage and refrigeration, keeps spoilage/waste to a minimum by ordering and utilizing proper quantities and rotating products, ensure that the quality of products meets established standards, follow up hygiene and safety procedures.
