Compensation & Hours:

Salary: $22.10 CAD Per Hour

Working hours: Minimum 30 hours per week

Overtime Rate: $33.15 per hour starting after 44 hours per week

Holiday pay: 4% of gross pay

Job Duties:

  • Develops system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; defining bookkeeping policies and procedures.

  • Balance and maintain accurate ledgers

  • Coordinate bank deposits and report financial results on a regular basis to management

  • Monitor office expenses and tally and enter cash receiptsPay vendor invoices and track bank account balances

  • Develop monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss statements and balance sheets

  • Balances general ledger by preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.

  • Maintains historical records by filing documents.

  • Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends
