Salary:  $16.00/hour

Employment target groups:  Indigenous persons, vulnerable youth, newcomers and person with disabilities.

Terms of employment: Term or contract, full-time for 35 to 40 hours a week.

Start Date:  As soon as possible

Employment conditions:  Morning, Day, Evening

Job Requirements:

Languages: English

Education:  Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:  Repetitive Tasks

Work Location Information: Work in employer's/client's home

Personal Suitability: Initiative, Organized, Judgment, Effective interpersonal skills, Excellent oral communication.

Additional Skills: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents, travels with family on trips and assist with child suppervision and housekeeping duties, wash, iron and press clothing and household linens.

Children's Ages

4 years, up to 12 years 

Specific Skills: Bathe, dress and feed infants and children, Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children, instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, organize, activities such as games outings for children, supervise and care for children, prepare and serve nutritious meals, maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, tend to emotional well-being of children, help children with homework.
