Child Care Giver

Family residing in Delta, BC, Canada, V4C 5R4 is looking for a caregiver to look after their two kids aged approximately 2 years and 6 years at their home in Delta.

Job Title: Child Care Giver

Position: Permanent, Full-Time 40 hours/ week.

Start Date: As soon as possible

Language: English

Education: Secondary (High) school Graduate Certification or equivalent experience

Experience: 7 to 12 months.

Wage: C$ 17/hour

Work Site Environment: Non-Smoking

Work Location: Employer’s home in Delta, BC, Canada, V4C 5R4

Specific Skills

• Supervise and take care of children in employer’s home
• Plan, prepare and serve meals for both the children and may perform other housekeeping duties.
• Plan food as per the age groups and non spicy.
• Maintain safe and healthy environment at home.
• Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents.
• Make a schedule that fits with both the age groups and organize things accordingly.
• Engage both the children with age appropriate activities like reading, craft, TV watching, and outings.
• Help the older child to revise school work on daily basis.
• Maintain safe and healthy environment at home.
• Plan and serve nutritious meals.
• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
• Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents.
• Make the younger child have nap as advised by the parents.
• Never leave the kids alone unsupervised
• Perform light house hold duties like washing clothes of the children, making their room and bed. May have to drop and pick the older child from the school.
