Location: 475 Bay Street, Midland, ON, L4R 1L1

Salary: $15.75 to $16.00 / hour (To be negotiated)

Job Requirements

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Ability to Supervise: 3-4 people

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Standing for extended periods

Work Location Information: On-site customer service

Work Site Environment: Odours, Hot

Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication, Flexibility, Effective interpersonal skills, Client focus, Team player

Additional Skills: Establish methods to meet work schedules, Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, Hire food service staff, Prepare budget and cost estimates, Address customers' complaints or concerns

Specific Skills: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, Estimate and order ingredients and supplies, Ensure food service and quality control, Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage, Prepare and submit reports, Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres, Supervise and check assembly of trays, Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys, Establish work schedules

Work Setting: Food service establishment

Workers Supervised: Food and beverage servers, Food service counter attendants and food preparers, Kitchen and food service helpers
