Job Title: Restaurant Supervisor
Job Location: 16030 Central Avenue, Inverness, Nova Scotia
Job Duties:
- Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who serve food
- Prepare food order summaries for chef/cooks according to requests from customers
- Establish work schedules and procedures
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
- Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
- Assist the general manager in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets
Job Requirements include:
- Hands-on mentality to the job on hand
- Strong work ethic and aptitude to multitask
- Attitude to learn with a ‘can-do’ approach
- Excellent communication skills with co-workers, front of house staff and managers
- Strict adherence to following COVID protocols for safe dining and entertainment
Skills Requirements:
- Co-ordinating and Organizing
- Supervising staff of 5 or more
- Customer service
- Training of new staff
Educational Requirement: at least K-12; completion of hotel-restaurant management or training programs an advantage
Work Experience Requirement: - 1 to 2 years of experience
