SAWMILL LABOURER

Permanent Position: Sawmill Labourer.

Company:  Delta Cedar Sawmill LP.   

No. of Vacancies: 2

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Weekend, Day, Evening, Shift.

Wage Rate:  $22.50 per hr for 40 Hours per week.

Benefits: Dental Insurance, Extended medical insurance.

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible.

Business Location: 10104 River Road Delta BC V4C 2R3

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma.

Experience: No experience. Will train.

Languages: Basic Knowledge of English.

 Main Duties:

• Feed conveyors, hoppers, saws and drying machines,
• Sort, pile and transport wood products,
• Remove scrap lumber and wood chips for reprocessing,
• Assist other processing workers,
• Clean machines and immediate work areas
• May perform other related duties as assigned

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Weight handling capability up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
