Seamstress
Stitch World Alterations is expanding its services and looking for a Seamstresser to join their team and serve the customers with their unique style and tailoring skills.
Position: Seamstress
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 2 year to less than 3 years
Terms of employment: Permanent / Full Time

Start Date: As soon as possible
Salary: $20.00/Hr. 40 hours per week

Seamstress (NOC 6342) will have to perform all of these duties:
- Mark, cut and sew fabric
- Take measurements and suggest design as per the product and design.
- Design patterns to fit measurements.
- Fit, mark, cut and sew fabric.
- Alter and repair garments as required.
- Make, alter, restyle, and repair the garment.
- Fit, alter and repair garments according to customers' requests by hand or using sewing machines.
- Maintain a safe, clean and orderly work station.
- Sort, stack and redirect sewn components to appropriate area.
- Process and sew rush orders as soon as received.
- Clean up after self regularly at end of shift.
- Make made-to-measure garments, such as suits and coats according to customer’s choice.
- Operate sewing machine or sew by hand.
