Food Service Supervisor

1087676 BC LTD (DBA: Freshii) has an aim toworks with a mission of helping citizens of the world live better by making healthy food convenient and affordable. We are looking for a “Food Service Supervisor” to join their team in Langley.

Salary: $25.50/ hour for 40 hours per week

Language: English

Education: Completion Senior Secondary Schooling

Experience: minimum 1 year experience needed.

Location: 37# 20821 Fraser Highway, Langley, BC, Canada V3A 4G7

Main Duties:

• Greet the customers
• Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff that prepare, portion and serve food.
• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
• Preparing the work schedule.
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
• Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
• Ensure the safety of the employees and customers.
• Check the food and its expiry date as per the instructions of the assigned person.
• Putting up the signage
• Maintaining the cash register.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, physically demanding; Standing for extended periods. Must be ability to supervise 3-4 people.

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Weekend availability
