K & K Hardy & Sliding Ltd. is a surrey based company.  We are in urgent need of a “labour” to help the tradesperson in the work and do others duties as per the requirement of the job.

Position: Labour

Terms of employment: Permanent / Full Time for 32hr/week

Vacancy: 1

Start Date: As soon as possible

Salary: $36.00/ hour for 32 hours per week

Language: English

Education: Completion of Senior Secondary School or less.

Experience: Minimum 2 year to less than 3 years experience needed.

Location: 12940- 93 avenue, Surrey, BC, V3V 1K9

Main Duties:

• Load and unload of construction material.
• Assist in receiving deliveries.
• Moving and organizing material and equipment on site.
• General cleanup of the area.
• Assist with the construction and related structure.
• Collecting excess materials or supplies and transporting to storage facility. Maintaining organization of the storage facility.
• Completing basic carpentry tasks and supporting onsite team members or trades with construction activities.
• Reporting incidents or near-miss incidents immediately
• Ensuring proper disposal of waste and scrap materials

Other requirements for the job

• Follow instructions and ability to listen to all team members.
• Perform work quickly and efficiently, demanding excellence in quality of work
• Ability to walk, stand, crouch for long periods of time and carry out strenuous physical tasks
• Demonstrate competency in specific materials, methods, tools, equipment and techniques required to complete required tasks in a safe and responsible manner
