Company & Job Description

Started from the ground up in the Greater Toronto Area, Sun Leaf Roofing Inc. has been and always will be a local solution for a full range of roofing, siding, and gutter services. We are currently looking for a commercial/residential roofer working in the GTA and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

1. Install, repair, or replace asphalt shingles, wood shingles, shakes, and other roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings.
2. Install sheet metal flashings.
3. Install, repair, or replace built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt-saturated felts and hot asphalt and gravel.
4. Install, repair, or replace the single-ply roofing system using waterproof sheet materials such as modified plastics, elastomeric or other compositions.
5. Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other surfaces below or above ground level.
6. Install scaffolding and other working platforms.
7. Estimate materials and costs as required.

Qualifications & Skills

1. High school diploma/graduation is required.
2. Previous experience in residential/commercial/industrial roofing will be an asset; must be willing to learn.
3. Ability to identify issues and able to resolve them in a timely manner.
4. Follow health and safety protocols and communicate with team members.
5. Capable of working in a fast-paced physically demanding environment.
6. Valid driver’s license.

Job Location

Various locations in the GTA and surrounding areas;

At heights; Noisy and dusty.

Terms of Employment

Permanent; Full-time

Wage & Benefits

$32/hour, 30 to 40 hours per week
