Additional duties:

 

1. Nail Services: Perform various nail services, including manicures, pedicures, nail extensions, gel polish application, nail art, and nail repairs. This includes cleaning, shaping, and buffing nails, as well as cuticle care and moisturizing treatments.

 

2. Consultation: Consult with clients to understand their specific nail care needs, preferences, and any existing nail or skin conditions. Offer recommendations on suitable treatments and nail care products based on their requirements.

 

3. Sanitization and Safety: Adhere to strict sanitation and hygiene practices to ensure a clean and safe environment for clients. Sterilize tools, equipment, and workstations between clients, and maintain proper hand hygiene.

 

4. Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest nail care trends, techniques, and products. Have in-depth knowledge of different nail polishes, gels, acrylics, and other nail care products to provide expert advice to clients.

 

5. Nail Health Assessment: Assess the condition of clients' nails and provide guidance on proper nail care routines and techniques to maintain healthy nails. Identify any signs of nail infections or abnormalities and refer clients to appropriate medical professionals if necessary.

 

6. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by actively listening to clients' preferences and concerns. Offer personalized recommendations and ensure a comfortable and relaxing experience throughout the nail care service.

 

7. Sales and Upselling: Promote and sell additional services, nail care products, and retail items to enhance the client experience and increase revenue. Upsell treatments such as nail enhancements, paraffin treatments, or hand and foot massages as appropriate.

 

8. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate client records, including treatment details, product recommendations, and any specific client preferences or allergies. Keep track of inventory and order supplies as needed.

 

9. Continuing Education: Stay updated on industry trends, new techniques, and products by attending workshops, training sessions, and industry events. Continuously enhance your skills and knowledge to provide the best nail care services to clients.

 

10. Cleanliness and Organization: Keep the nail care workstation clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies. Follow proper disposal protocols for used materials and ensure a visually appealing and inviting workspace.

 

11. As a nail care technician, your role is to provide professional and high-quality nail care treatments while prioritizing client satisfaction, hygiene, and safety. By demonstrating excellent technical skills, product knowledge, and customer service, you contribute to a positive and enjoyable nail care experience for clients.
