Job Summary
Drift Motors is seeking a Purchasing Officer to support dealership operations by managing the acquisition of new and pre-owned vehicles. This role is responsible for assessing inventory needs, negotiating purchase terms with vehicle suppliers and wholesalers, coordinating deliveries, and maintaining accurate purchasing records. The Purchasing Officer works closely with sales and operations teams to ensure inventory levels align with market demand and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities

Purchase new and pre-owned vehicles from manufacturers, wholesalers, auctions, and authorized suppliers

Assess inventory requirements and market demand to determine purchasing needs

Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vehicle suppliers

Review quotations, purchase agreements, and contract terms

Coordinate vehicle deliveries, logistics, and related documentation

Maintain accurate purchasing, inventory, and supplier records

Resolve supplier-related issues including pricing, delivery delays, or documentation discrepancies

Collaborate with sales and operations teams to support dealership inventory strategies
Education & Experience
Education:
College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma (1–2 years)
or equivalent experience
