We are seeking an experienced Cook to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of functions:

Wage: $22.00 per hour for 40 hours/week

Term of Employment: Full-time, Permanent

Start Date: As soon as possible

Work Location: Unit 101 - 4647 Lakelse Avenue, Terrace, BC V8G 1R3

Job Requirements:

Language: English

Education: Completion of Secondary (high) school

Work Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of work experience as a cook.

 

Job Duties:

• Preparing and cooking menu items according to recipes and established standards.
• Preparing ingredients, including meats, vegetables, rice, beans, sauces, and toppings.
• Assembling burritos, bowls, tacos, quesadillas, and other menu items.
• Ensuring proper portion sizes, food quality, presentation, and preparation times.
• Train staff in preparation
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas
• Clean kitchen and work areas
• Order supplies and equipment
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Manage kitchen operations
