Caregiver for Elderly

Sidhu family is looking for a full time energetic and active caregiver, with flexible daily hours to take care of their parents at their residence located at Abbotsford, BC, V2T 5M8

Salary: $20.50 per hour

Minimum working hours: 40 hours/week

Experience:  minimum of 6 months to 1 year or more in Elder Care.

Position: 1; Permanent, Full time
Start Date: As soon as possible.

Language: must have good English speaking and listening skills.

Education:  Applicant should have completed his High School

Duties to perform:

• Mend clothing and linens.
• Helping in light physical activities, exercises and walking.
• Cook meals as per the health and advice of the doctor.
• Provide companionship by talking and helping them to socialize.
• Giving medicines in time as prescribed by the doctor.
• Assume full responsibility for household including laundry.
• Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk
• Prepare beds and change linen for Elderly.
• Prepare nutritious meals and special diets and assist in feeding them as and when required because of bad health.
• Accompany to the doctor’s visits and inform the employer if anything unusual is found in their behaviour or talks.
