PACKAGING SUPERVISOR - FOOD AND BEVERAGE PROCESSING (NOC 9213)

Salary: $27.25 / hour for 40 hours per week

Full Time, Permanent

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate 

Additional Skills

Workers Supervised

• Testers and graders, fruit processing
• Process control and machine operators, fruit processing

Specific Skills

• Knowledge of Safe Quality Food(SQF) and Canada GAP Program and documentation
• Assist growers in obtaining CGAP certification to ensure procurement of best quality fruit

• Resolve work related problems
• Respond to employee questions and complaints
• Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
• Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units
• Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards
• Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers
• Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity
• Identify, evaluate, control and prevent hazards at all stages of the food production process
