Good Friend HR Company is seeking to recruit 2 Meat Cutters.

 

Job Detail   

Job Title: Meat Cutter - retail or wholesale

Positions Available: 2

Salary: $14.60 per hour for 40 hours per week 

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time   

Language: English   

Start Date of Employment: As Soon As Possible   

Vacation: 4% of gross salary in lieu of vacation time   

Work Location: #1 - 1560 Broadway Street, Port Coquitlam, BC V3C 2M8

Work Site Environment: Odors, cold/refrigerated 

Employment conditions: Early morning, morning, day, and weekend shifts.  

Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma  

Experience: 1 month to less than 7 months of related experience  

Physical capabilities: Must be able to stand for extended periods, combination of sitting, standing, walking, physically demanding 

Employer will cover the cost of relocation 

 

Job Description   

  • Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting 

  • Wrap and package prepared meats 

  • Weigh meats for sale 

  • Cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat 

  • Cut poultry into parts 

  • Remove bones from meat 

  • Prepare special orders 

  • Shape, lace and tie roasts, other meats, poultry and seafood 

  • Use slicing machine, Power grinder, and manual cutting utensils
