Duties
- Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
- Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled and fuel consumption
- Load and unload goods
- Ensuring safety and security of cargo
- Ensuring all paperwork is accurate and complete
- Providing exceptional customer service
- Drive as part of a two-person team
Requirements
- A valid AZ License
- Minimum one to seven months (verifiable) of highway driving experience
- Clean police search
- Clean drivers and CVOR abstracts
- Ability to legally work in Canada
- Adhere to all local state and federal vehicular regulations while driving
